Ways to clean your memobottle (Original and Stainless Steel):

  • Wash with hot water and either detergent or a vinegar solution (1 part vinegar and 4 parts warm water), shake it up and let it soak before rinsing. Please take note that memobottles are not insulated and can be hot to touch so please exercise caution when using hot water.
  • A bottle brush/wire bristle brush works also. You can twist the wire as needed to reach the bottom and sides of the bottle. When cleaning the Original memobottle™, soft bristles are preferred to avoid scratching the interior of the bottle.
  • For an extra deep clean, memobottle Cleaning Tablets are also available online.

On top of this, we recommend rinsing it out daily and topping it up with fresh water to avoid any build-up, especially if filled with colored/flavored drinks. For other beverages, we advise washing out the bottles more frequently to avoid discoloration.

How to clean your memobottle lid (both versions):

The lid can be wiped with a clean towel or tissue. To clean the seal, simply remove it if needed. Use a thin, non-serrated tool like a butter knife or teaspoon to gently flick it out and gently place it back to use as normal.

How to clean the Silicone Sleeves:

Our Silicone Sleeves feature adust-proof and oil-based coating that prevents dust from sticking and accumulating on the surface.

We recommend wiping the Silicone Sleeves with a damp cloth. Washing the sleeves with detergent or scrubbing it with an abrasive sponge might scratch the surface or remove the protective coating.

Gentle Reminders:

  • Unless stated otherwise, our products are not safe for the dishwasher. Dishwashers use harsh abrasives and chemicals that can damage our products, and leave watermarks that might be hard to remove.
  • memobottles can hold up to 100° Celsius so you can clean your bottles with boiling water. Please do so cautiously as your memobottle with hot liquids will make it hot to touch, just like any other non-insulated bottle and container.
