Day 6 - Love Tea

For the 6th Ethical Day of Christmas this 2020, we are giving away a tea gift pack and four loose leaf teas from @loveteaofficial and a memobottle of your choice. A brainchild of two Naturopathy students, Love Tea started as an experimental passion project with organic teas, aromatic spices, and therapeutic herbs that eventually became the brand that it is now. Offering a vast collection of teas and accessories, the brand concentrates on creating premium-quality tea blends that are ethically sourced using sustainable methods that are healthy for the body and nature.

Love Tea creates an even greater environmental and societal impact on their products and practices. They’re donating 1% of their annual revenues to 1% For The Planet, which in turn, funds trusted environmental organisations to conduct programs and projects to reduce our negative environmental impact and solve our on-going environmental crisis. They also collaborate with small-scale farmers, tea growers, and cooperatives in gathering certified fair trade ingredients around the world.

Aside from the various business efforts towards sustainability, Love Tea’s packaging is also in line with their advocacy. Their pyramid tea bags are made from biodegradable woven mesh called Soilon, while the boxes are made from recycled cards and printed with plant-based ink.
